Visiting Teams

During the evening feeding programs, your team will have a chance to distribute food and goods to those in need, including elderly-at-risk, low-income families, and new arrivals from China.

Your team may also help to pick up donated fresh fruits and vegetables from the markets to distribute.

Our ministry not only distributes food to these people but also holds special activities with them to encourage community so they can feel as they are integrated into society.

Helping our community

This outreach involves packing and sorting food bags, running a fun and interactive program for beneficiaries that includes games, sharing, and activities, and then giving away the Blessing Bags. If your team has performance outreach tools, this is the perfect place to use them!

Your team is also welcome to bring prepare and bring items from your home country to give away during these outreaches, which will be an extra special treat for those we serve!

Our ministry reaches out to the cardboard collectors that work hard to earn so little money. Most of them are elderly, so we distribute food, water, bread and any other item that can be useful for them. We have several street sleepers that we also build relationships with though our food distribution.

Cardboard Collectors

As our base reaches out to the needy in our area and aims to alleviate food waste, we run a food bank to deliver food to our charity partners and individual beneficiaries. Your team can help to pick up, sort, and give away donated food and goods to those in need.

We are also able to run a poverty simulation for the team. This interactive simulation uses drama, discussion and role play to help participants understand the struggles and choices that those in need face every day. The simulation ends with the team going out to bring food to the street sleepers and cardboard collectors.

We run evangelistic community carnivals and parties to reach out to our local communities. These are a blend of performance, Gospel sharing, food/clothing distributions and interactive booths (games, crafts, face painting, balloon animals etc.) This would be another great opportunity to involve some of the different members of your team with preparing items either for the booths or for the performances.

We desire to end Bible poverty in Hong Kong. Your team can help to distribute books of the Bible to our surrounding area and beyond. The Hong Kong people need the Word of God!
